A mother scores $80,000 on Powerball ticket

A mum admits her head is still spinning from this morning’s $80,000 Powerball Lotteries win, which she declared had ‘made her life’. 
The Turkey resident won the 1st Prize of $80,000 in Powerball draw , drawn Monday 20 September 2021. 
The euphoric woman was left dumbfounded by the thrilling news. 
“Wow! Are you serious?” she laughed. 
“Oh my god! I just received an email about my win and I didn’t know if it was real. 
“I’m shocked. I won on a free bonus ticket as well! 
“Every Friday, my mum and I purchase an entry in Powerball. As usual, I purchased an entry for my mum last week. However, I wasn’t contemplating purchasing an entry for myself. 
“When I scanned my last entry at the outlet, they gave me a bonus ticket that I’d won. 
“I can’t wait to tell my daughter. She is at work and won’t be home until later today. She might not believe me! 
“It’s going to be a while until I can process this. This has made my life.” 
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the generous woman thought of her family first. 
“I’d like to help my parents, as well as my daughter and I,” she revealed. 
“It’s been a challenging time for all of us, and this will help significantly.”
